Happy Lunar New Year (2009)

Happy New Year of OX.

These few days I have a long vacation at home ... so boring and just eat and sleep.
Try some shot of a new lens and some of the photo were taken by my gf.
I need to know more with my new friend (the lens), I like to try Sigma's lens, as I think some of them are very good enough for me. I like to use Sigma lens in wedding day, as they provide very good range and function. I hope the current equipment can produce the photo is good enough to all of you.

Although my english is not very good, in Year 2009 I also want to try something new that use English in some article. I think this can let more people to know about my work more and deeper. I can only try my best to write by my "CHINGLISH" but... I know there must be a lot gramma mistake, please let me know if you found any ar. Thanks.

This album is the best that I feel in end of year 2008, it's all about the timing. All good timing happen in the big day of Mandy & Wilson, therefore can create many photo that I love in 2008.

I would give a special thanks to the Standard Photographer - Brian Yu. He gave me a lot chances to take what I want, I really like to cooperate with him in this style. Both of us can take as much as our best photo and learn from each other, really good.

Mandy was very care about us - all photographer and videographer. She treat us so kind and she always smiling that is very important to us. Wilson is very talkative and understand our difficulties in this field. He can do many posing by himself. That's very great.

I cannot forget the last dress of Mandy, what was a very very very shinny dress all are golden color. She was very besutiful for the whole day expecially with this dress.

When I give them the photo package they also like it very much. I hope I can help to capture what they want and what they missed on their big day.

WPHK annual dinner

This is my first time to join the special dinner for me.
A very great chance to meet so many famous wedding photographer in the same night, which feel really amazing. However... I think I am too passive in this new environment, so... I have only listen more than talk with all of them....cmLeung, Lawrence Tsang, dm, Dennis Mok, Kenneth So, Irene Chiu, Chung, Ray Chiu and many many videographer. Really an amazing dinner.

I feel so enjoy even if I just sit and listen to all of them.

Luckily, cmLeung draw my ticket and I got a Card Reader as the lucky draw prize. And then I draw the next ticket and who is .... Lawrence Tsang. Haha, what a great moment that I can give a prize to Lawrence.

Although only a small prize but really a lucky card reader for me. I must remember tonight.

To be frank, Kam's service is not cheap. But for the quality and attitude he's been giving, it is worthy of the price. I don't think he needs more advertising here. I solely want to share with you and express my happiness to have Kam as my photography on my wedding day!

Jasmine 的一歲生日會

0係好偶然之下認識Jasmine 媽媽, 佢叫我去生日會幫手影下相, 我就同Carrie 一齊去玩下.

Jasmine 真係好可愛, 同哥哥成日玩得好開心.

雖然只係短短的個多小時, 但Jasmine 表情多多, 搞到我影不停, 真係每一個moment 都好珍貴同開心, 見jasmine 玩得咁開心, 連自己都影到不停笑出來.

有時同小朋友影下玩下都係一種娛樂, 哈.

祝Jasmine 同哥哥 快高長大, 身體健康.

Nicole & Kalun

Nicole其實係我好朋友的好朋友, 所以才找我幫幫手, 都可以話係一半的友情客串, 所以影得比較自由, 又可以試下d 新角度, 都幾好.

不過講開又講, 越來越多自己的朋友結婚話想找我幫手, 但係通常都太遲才通知我了, 令到大家有點失望真係唔好意思. 我當然好想參與自己朋友的婚禮, 盡點綿力, 所以一plan 0左個大日子就通知我先啦, 哈. 點都留個日子比你地ma! (哈, 講到自己好似好唔得閒咁, 巴士閉)

今次的行程相當緊張, 我都係第一次得15分鐘食飯時間. 好彩d 兄弟都好好, 一見我到酒樓, 立即叫了碟叉飯, 食完即走要趕車, 哈, 真係好緊張.

一到教堂開始準備時, 就見到之前幫佢地整0左個張場刊, 不過我冇份design, 只係跟住個意思做, 印出0黎都幾好咁wor. : ) 可惜我唔記得留一份做紀念. Kalun 0係台上面時真係好風趣, 引得台下親朋戚友都笑逐顏開. Nicole真係幸福, 有個咁風趣開心的老公, 真係好.

再一次恭喜Nicole 同 Kalun.

康復中...

病了一個星期, 還未好得晒, 可以要比原本遲少少至可以原成retouch比大家, 真係唔好意思.

新的一年, 我一定要祝自己"身體健康" 至得!

2009 CountDown @ cmLeung's house

今個元旦真係好特別, 因為我參加0左一個好多出名婚禮攝影師搞的party.
地點係cmleung屋企, 我當然第一時間報名參加啦.
因為好多年冇同陌生人開party, 所以心情好緊張, 而且重係自己好欣賞的攝影師, 就更加緊張啦.

佢地好nice, Dennis 重車我地去cmleung 屋企tim, 真係唔該晒dennis. 哈.
當晚大家一點陌生的感覺都沒有, 有說有笑, 看看相, 玩玩相機就已經到了十二點了, 真係好正.

有野食又有相機玩, dm 重帶了真的5D MarkII 來比大家試下, 個iso 真係好正... 2010 一定要買部至得, 哈. 你睇下我同幾位非常出名的婚禮攝影師竟然出現係dm部5d個mon 上... 對我來說真係夢一樣...你地又認唔認得佢地? (當晚重有dm, Tony Tsui, 同佢地0既好朋友tim)

2009 有一個好正的開始, 我一定要再努力!!!

Kerrie & Kit

今次幫 Kerrie 同 Kit 手, 係程序上比較特別, 還未見面他們已經決定找我幫手.因為他們都身處美國, 亦已經於美國註冊了, 今次回來香港除了註冊, 其他都做足功夫, 真係勁!

初次見面時收到了他們很特別的帖, 設計得好正好有特色, 原來kit本身係做design, 唔怪得知咁正啦.還有他們自己的design的logo - K&K's wedding. 我真的很喜歡這個design 的概念.

正日當日, 見kit的表演欲很強, 當然無一個遊戲可能難到他. 有時見佢地玩得咁開心, 我都忍唔住笑出0黎, 不過, 我見到的全都是在相機viewfinder裡看到, 感覺又是另一翻風味. 見佢地咁落力玩, 我當然更加投入去影.

祝k&k返回美國的生活愉快

後記:

請唔好怪我直, 當日的兩位攝影師真係令我有點頭痛, 他們的職責有點亂, 一時男攝影師拍group photo 女攝影師拍snap photo, 一時又女攝影師拍group photo 男攝影師拍snap photo. 因為我清楚我的角色係唔可以阻住group攝影師, 通常我會另找角度, 但係一時係男攝影師一時係女攝影師, 我真係頭都大. 而且, 他們站得主人家好近地拍, 當然這個不是問題, 我都會企得近影d, 問題係影完佢地會原地站立睇下d相, 時間都唔短, 使我工作上加了很大困難. 當然, 我唔會認輸, 哈, 立即跑去另一角度再影. 今次都可以話係一大挑戰, 哈.
